AI Art Generator - AI Picture 17+

This app isn’t like the others. It’s a one-time payment (completely worth it) and doesn’t rain ads on you. Nor does it cost credits. It’s simple and to the point. The fact that it also creates the best results out of any app I’ve tried is the cherry on top. Trust me review: this is the app you’re looking for.

The description is vague as to how it works. It appears to use stable diffusion (open source). Needless to say, it does not run directly on your device, but must connect to the Internet—the artwork is generated on remote servers. That means if the servers go down, the app will stop working. Still, you can get your money’s worth out of this quickly if you use it a lot. Fidelity to the prompt is not always very good. For example, i prompted “Tim Cook showing off the latest iPhone“ and it showed a knight, a cyborg and other things but none of the images looked like Tim Cook. In another app I use, all of the images looked like Tim Cook. When I requested “Rembrandt in the style of Rembrandt,“ it worked great, but when I prompted “Rembrandt painting a self portrait,“ it always gave me a “unknown error!“ On the plus side, the images are a lot higher resolution than they appear on your phone. If you download them to a device with a large screen like a computer, you will be able to enjoy them in their full resolution, which is pretty decent!

It’s a nice AI art generator. Of course I don’t like that artists don’t get credit when their art is used for AI, but this works and does a fairly decent job depending on what you input into the description/ prompt.

I like that it has examples and that you can generate a prompt more than once. And it’s great that it doesn’t have in-app purchases or it doesn’t seem to make you pay to use it after a couple of uses like other AI art generators.

Although sometimes doesn’t work/ the app crashes when there’s no WiFi or if the prompt is tricky. The images come out small and blurry (unless enhanced). Results can occasionally look uncanny valley, but it’s pretty good overall.
