CCRN certification is a specialty certification for nurses who provide direct care to acutely/critically ill adult,pediatric or neonatal patients and their families. These patients may be found in such units as: intensive care,cardiac care, combined ICU/CCU, medical/surgical ICU,trauma unit or critical care transport/flight. The CCRN exam is based on a study of practice, also known as a job analysis.
