Numerology is the ancient science of assigning a "vibration" (a number from 1-8) to each letter of the alphabet. The letters of words and names are mapped to their individual vibrations and continually added together until a single vibration is reached giving the essence of that word or name, its vibration. If the sum of the digits at some point reaches 11 or 22 the calculation stops as these are considered special vibrations.
