PDF-Dateien können in neu.Annotate aus jeder Anwendung heraus, dass die Stützen geöffnet werden "Öffnen mit ..." Menübefehl. Dazu gehören Mail, Safari, MobileMe iDisk, Dropbox und vielen anderen. PDF-Dateien können importiert iTunes File Sharing und von Dropbox werden.

Kommentierte PDF-Dateien können per E-Mail genutzt werden sowie zu iTunes und Dropbox exportiert. Einzelne Seiten können auch in PNG und JPG-Formate genutzt werden, zusätzlich zu PDF.
