See Speech in Action!
This App is an interactive teaching tool for practising Speech-Language Pathologists that merges still images with video fluoroscopy in order to make sessions with adolescent children and adult clients more dynamic and engaging. Speech Sounds Visualized is also widely-used as an educational tool for speech language pathology students.
Simply select the sound(s) your client wishes to work on, then watch the stunning x-ray videos accurately show how each sound is formed in the mouth. Additional instructions for each sound are provided by a Speech Language Pathologist so that clients and students may reach expected outcomes earlier. The R-package is especially helpful for children working on that pesky R sound!
Features:
*Recording capability enables clients to receive immediate feedback on articulation
*Written instruction provided for every sound in the English phonetic alphabet
*Customer service available directly through the App via email or social media
*No advertisements in order to facilitate learning without distraction
*The only App to provide the innovative merger of still photography with video fluoroscopy
