iPhone Giveaway of the Day - Tidal Stream Atlas Europe

Live sea currents across Western Europe. From Norway to the northern coast of Spain, based on up-to-date current and weather models. With animation mode.

Plus: all 91 tide charts from the HP33 Current Atlas showing the current flow conditions in the North Sea, the Wadden Sea and the waters off Zeeland, licensed by the Royal Netherlands Navy. The nautical charts are available offline, so they can be consulted even when out of range of wireless networks.

PLUS: Detailed tidal conditions at the reference stations, a tide clock showing spring tides and neap tides, and sunrise and sunset times as well as moon phases.

You can install this tide atlas on both your iPhone and iPad. Viewing the map material on a tablet’s large screen is, of course, the easiest option. However, you can zoom in on all maps, so you can also use this app on your iPhone as a useful reference tool.

This app is intended as a supplement to our regular Waterkaart Live – Sea Weather and ‘Het Getij’ apps, which provide live meteorological and maritime data, weather maps and forecasts for your iPhone and iPad.
