iPhone Giveaway of the Day - Utility Bill Audit : BILLMETER

BillMeter recomputes every utility bill from your actual tariff and tells you, to the cent, whether the number your provider printed is right.

Most apps multiply your usage by a rate you typed in and call it an estimate. BillMeter models the real thing: tiered rates, time of use windows, standing charges, seasonal riders and taxes.

- Clear verdicts on every bill, with the formula behind each number shown on tap

WHY IT MATTERS

Utility billing is complicated by design. Tiered rates, seasonal adjustments and rate riders make it almost impossible to tell whether a bill is correct by looking at it. Errors happen, and they are rarely in your favour. BillMeter does the arithmetic your provider assumes you will never do.

Every figure the app shows can be tapped to reveal the exact formula with your own numbers substituted in. Nothing is a black box.

AI ASSISTANCE

Optional AI features can read a photographed bill and explain a month in plain language. When you use them, the text is sent for processing and is never stored. Everything else works entirely offline.
